Small-batch roastery · Mount Pleasant, Vancouver
Coffee roasted this week, a few blocks from where you drink it.
We roast in small batches on Main Street, twice a week, and sell it three ways: by the bag, by subscription, and to the cafés and kitchens around us that want a roaster they can actually phone.
- Tue 15 Sep
- Guji Highland, Huila Reserva, Mount Pleasant Blend
- Thu 17 Sep
- Kochere Natural, Night Shift
Bags from these batches reach both cafés the same afternoon.
- 2016 First batch roasted on Main Street
- 31 Wholesale accounts across the Lower Mainland
- 2 Cafés in Mount Pleasant
The shelf
Nine coffees, roasted twice a week.
Every bag is stamped with its roast date and lot. We think coffee is best from day four to week six, so nothing leaves the roastery older than a fortnight. Pick one up at either café, or have it delivered on subscription.

Cafés
Two rooms, one roastery.
Both pour the same coffee; they just feel different. Main Street is the busy original beside the drum. Fraser Street is the quiet one with the good bench.

The original café shares a wall with the roastery, so the room smells of whatever went into the drum that morning. Two long communal tables, a window bar facing Main, and a cupping counter where we run public tastings on the first Saturday of the month.

Wholesale
A roaster you can phone.
We supply about thirty cafés, restaurants, and offices around the Lower Mainland. If you’d like to be one of them, tell us a little about your place and we’ll bring samples.
- Roasted to order
- Wholesale roasts go into the drum on Tuesdays and Thursdays and leave the same day. Nothing sits on a shelf.
- Delivered twice a week
- Our own van covers Vancouver, Burnaby, and North Vancouver on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Elsewhere in BC ships overnight.
- Training included
- Every account gets barista training at the roastery, dial-in visits when you change grinders, and a phone number that a person answers.
- Equipment help
- We can source and service La Marzocco machines and Mahlkönig grinders at trade prices, or work with whatever you already have.
